What we do and do not claim

Khagol presents what the classical tradition says about a chart, sourced to its texts. Controlled scientific studies have never shown astrological prediction to beat chance. So we offer tradition-internal interpretation — a faithful, cited reading of the classics for reflection and study — not scientifically proven prediction. We think honesty about this is a feature, not a weakness.

Interpretation varies

Vedic astrology is a centuries-old tradition with many schools (Parashari, Jaimini, KP and others) that read the same chart differently. Khagol implements widely accepted classical rules and shows the citation behind each result, but it cannot replace the nuance of an experienced human astrologer.

Technical defaults

We use the Lahiri ayanamsha, mean lunar nodes, and whole-sign Parashari houses by default. Historic birth dates with local-time uncertainty may differ from a fully localized chart.
